So since my last post nothing toooo exciting has happened. The most exciting thing has been the 20 week ultrasound. We have a very cooperative baby on board but we didn't want to find out if it was a boy or girl so we had to turn away from the monitor. I was sooooo tempted to have a sneaky peak but I was good :) anyway here is the 3d pic of the mini mr(s) bean:
Travis went over to Germany for a few weeks for the celebrations of the Berlin wall anniversary. He had a great time and came back with a few gifts for me and the baby. My favourite is this awesome hand made nutcracker:
It's going to stay on the entertainment unit all year round!
Christmas has come and gone. We didn't do anything fancy. Travis enjoyed the stein I got him. So much that he had a debut beer in it at 8:00am!
we went to mums and had lunch there. So many presents and so much food and so many laughs. It was fantastic.
We hit the post Christmas sales and grabbed some fabulous bargains. A maclaren rocker for the baby reduced from $180 down to $80! A cot mobile reduced from $95 down to $45. A fabulous sleigh cot which came with a free boori mattress and tidy drawer, a strider plus pram reduced from $800 down to $560, and finally a new hp monitor for $300 down from $500!
I also bought myself a new watch and a new purse with some Christmas money.
I still have a few more days off work, we go back on the 4th. Then I've only got 3 more months left until I go on 12 months maternity leave :) I'm already counting down for that!
Well i am heading off now so I can go and cook dinner. We are having dahl tonight, recipie from my new Food Safari cookbook :)
